Brooklyn Local N°2, Brooklyn Brewery

So here it is! Now available in Germany. Garrett Oliver‘s specialty beer N° 2, made with lots of knowledge and closed-up with a fancy cork. The style is inspired by Belgian strong dark ales. Inspired only, because Garrett obviously wants to do better than limitating himself only to Belgium. His ingredient list unites the finest a global brewing world has to offer: Belgian dark sugar, German and English hops, German Pilsner malt and English Chocolate malt. A total hybrid thus, considering these ingredients.

And its taste. Very good. Smooth in texture with a just right carbonation. A good measure of sweetness, not exagerated, just matching the velvet-like mouthfeel. A very aromatic head. A beer to sip only, given its 9% alcohol.
Well done! Garrett rules!
